Warning

So I found out 2 new things about otter pops. Read below.I made my first ever salsa the other day for a salsa contest at work, and I cut up about 12 yellow hot chili peppers with my bare hands. I knew it wouldnt be a good idea but my hands were burning so bad even 20 hours later that when I licked my finger I burned my tounge!! I was holding otter pops all night to numb my hands from what felt like a flesh eating virus.

The next day I wanted to enjoy the otter pop like it was meant to be enjoyed, in my mouth. (No ‘thats what she said’ jokes please). Well that thing stuck to my lip and made me bleed.  Those things should come with a warning. Kinda like the one I made up top.

Graduation

As the sun set from the 3rd floor of the W.P. Carey School of Business tonight, it also sets as the last time I will be a student at ASU.*  It’s been a wonderful long run, me and school. I’ve been going non stop since kindergarten, year after year. Semester after semester.  Honestly it will be a little strange next fall when the school buses start running through the neighborhoods again, bikes start filling up the streets of Tempe and I won’t be on campus with my backpack and laptop.  It’s been fun.  But just as the sun sets in one part of the world, it rises in another part, so too will it rise in a new part of my life. It already has. Hello world.

*I can never say never. I may go back to get my MBA. But I have no immediate plans to go back.

Wedding

I still can’t believe that I got married this weekend. It all seems like a dream! I have of course more to write about the wedding than this, but I still have a lot of things to do, including a Filipino Cultural event you are all invited to this Saturday at ASU (its free, but we are taking donations to go towards a Filipino charity that helps street children).  Anyway till then, check out this amazing pic courtsey of See Keonammavong Photography
