Weekly Photo – Thanksgiving Eve
Written on Nov 25, 2009 // Photography, Weekly Photo. One year ago tomorrow I ventured out to do my first HDR photo. Timing is everything and that day was no exception.
To the West, a light rain was falling and the sun was setting behind the mountains, a combination that creates one of the most beautiful golden, orange colors. It’s a color I seen before, but it is indeed a rare treat. The sun glistening through the millions of droplets of water in the sky just intensify the colors.
Then to the East, the darkened sky contrasted the colors bursting through the full rainbow.
Here I was in the middle of this scene franticly taking HDR photos for the first time. Below is one of the HDR photos I took. It doesn’t do any justice to the colors I seen but you get a glimpse.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I know I have a lot to be thankful for this year.
